Wow. What an article from the NY Times. This article addresses both sides of the controversy regarding birth control and suppressing one's menstrual cycle. More pills are coming out that allow women to only have their period a few times a year, and this is very controversial, because many women believe that we menstruate for a good reason, and it's unnatural NOT to. One quote said this: “We don’t want to confront our bodily functions anymore,” Ms. Andrist said. “We’re too busy.” That's a scary idea, in my opinion. Anyway, do yourself a favor and read this article, no matter what your view is.
